CMN 199 Experimental Research and New Communication Technologies
Join Dr. Jorge Peña’s Virtual Interaction & Communication Technology (VICTR) Lab in the Department of Communication. As an undergraduate research assistant (RA), you will help run behavioral experiments and support day-to-day lab activities. Responsibilities may include scheduling participants, welcoming and consenting participants, explaining study procedures, preparing and using lab computers, organizing data, and helping maintain research records. Some projects also involve behavioral measures such as accelerometer-based data collection and behavioral coding, along with survey measures related to attitudes, personality, and awareness of influence.
As you gain experience, you may have opportunities to take on more responsibility and become involved in the development of new studies.
